“Parole”, nato all’interno dell’iniziativa Equal – D.I.P.O.: “Percorsi per le Donne Immigrate nelle Marche per l’accesso alle Pari Opportunità”, è un progetto finalizzato alla sperimentazione di soluzioni innovative per il superamento delle barriere all’accesso alle pari opportunità per le donne immigrate. La lingua italiana è lo strumento primo per l’integrazione interculturale, perciò l’Istituto “Volterra”, sede del Centro Territoriale Permanente per l’Educazione degli Adulti, pone le attività finalizzate all’apprendimento della lingua al centro della propria offerta formativa. L’idea del CD “Parole” è nata dalla necessità di costruire materiale didattico finalizzato ai corsisti di prima alfabetizzazione in Italiano L2; una lingua è fatta di parole, esse sono quindi essenziali nella prima fase dell’apprendimento. Poiché il numero di parole conosciuto determina il grado di comunicazione, è importante insegnare il lessico e creare attività didattiche strutturate finalizzate a tale insegnamento. In particolare, la notevole difficoltà di comunicare con cinesi di primo arrivo ha sollecitato la creazione di un prodotto multimediale, in considerazione anche della particolare familiarità che questi apprendenti hanno con il mezzo informatico. Obiettivo principale di questo prodotto è quello di favorire l’apprendimento di un lessico di base attraverso l’utilizzo di immagini, superando, almeno in questa prima fase, per mezzo della tastiera, le difficoltà della grafia.

The purpose of the CD “WORDS” is to create teaching material for students, whose mother tongue uses a non-latin alphabet. As a matter of fact, a language is made up of words and they are essential in the initial stage of learning. In other words, lexical knowledge determines the level of communication. Therefore, the main aim of this multimedia CD is to foster the learning of basic vocabulary through the use of images and, then, to face the challenge of writing. The CD offers three different learning patterns with increasing difficulty and a series of test with score for self-assessment. The CD “WORDS” can be used for the learning of Italian as L2, either for work in class or individual study.
