Il progetto è nato dalla necessità di potenziare i laboratori linguistici multimediali, già esistenti e insigniti del riconoscimento Label Europeo 2005, mediante la costituzione di un Centro Multimediale per i servizi linguistici che funga da luogo privilegiato per l’accesso alle risorse multi-disciplinari digitali fondamentali per chi lavora nella società contemporanea. Detto Centro Multimediale per i servizi linguistici è stato ideato per avere la funzione di attrattore linguistico-culturale sia in relazione all’utenza interna sia all’utenza esterna all’Ateneo al fine di garantire una migliore, approfondita e capillare fruizione del sapere nell’epoca della società della conoscenza basata sulle ICT. I settori professionali di riferimento assecondano l’offerta didattica delle Facoltà attivate presso l’Ateneo, ed insistono sui settori aziendalistico, economico, commerciale, giuridico, scientifico, informatico e ingegneristico. Oltre a ciò, il percorso di lingua inglese –DAELI-, realizzato in modalità e-learning , è incentrato sulle competenze digitali ovvero su di un ambito trasversale ai settori professionali su cui insiste la didattica dell’Ateneo. Lo sviluppo Alcune attività progettuali attuate: - Realizzazione di servizi per l’apprendimento delle lingue in modalità FAD e di un portale europeo. Per la sezione risorse on line del portale l’idea è stata di avviare un servizio informativo rivolto ai giovani circa le opportunità offerte dall’Europa e dai paesi extra europei, sulle tematiche di interesse giovanile collegate all’ambito delle lingue straniere: formazione universitaria e professioni all’estero, lavoro all’estero, cultura e tempo libero; - Allestimento di un laboratorio teatrale in lingua con la partecipazione degli studenti dell’Ateneo; - Allestimento di un ulteriore laboratorio linguistico multimediale della capienza di 30 posti; - Creazione di un catalogo informatizzato delle risorse presenti e disponibili presso la Mediateca (cd audio, cd musicali DVD,VHS). Le metodologie didattiche applicate si incentrano sulla modalità e-learning, sul CLIL e sul laboratorio teatrale, come supporto alla didattica delle lingue. La ricaduta Le finalità generali del progetto sono riconducibili al preciso obiettivo di avvicinare i giovani alle nuove forme di comunicazione e lavoro, promuovendo e diffondendo la cultura audiovisiva e multimediale in lingua, per facilitare l’accesso alle informazioni. Con riferimento all’ambito linguistico, il Progetto è stato teso ad arricchire le competenze linguistiche dei discenti che, per i corsi in modalità e-learning sono stati concentrate sul livello B1 del CEF mentre il tassello teatro in lingua ha permesso anche di sviluppare le capacità relazionali dei partecipanti e di far acquisire la consapevolezza del ruolo della gestualità nell’ambito della comunicazione e di come questa cambi a seconda della cultura di riferimento.

The project derives from the will to improve the multimedia language labs in our university that has been awarded with the European Label in 2005, by setting up a Multimedia Centre for language services with a privileged access to digital multi-disciplinary resources, fundamental for those who work in contemporary society.The aim of the above-mentioned Multimedia Centre for Languages Services is to attract, at a linguistic and cultural level, both the University internal and external users in order to ensure a good and in-depth fruition of knowledge in a society based on the ICTs. Referential professional sectors follow the educational offer of our university faculties and deal with business, economic, law, scientific, computer science fields. Furthermore the DAELI e-learning English Language project, deal with digital skills, a transversal field of professional sectors examined by this University. Scheduled activities 1. the implementation of services in order to learn foreign languages and an European portal. Our purpose is to implement an informative service addressed to young people dealing with opportunities offered by European and extra-European countries, about foreign languages useful for students: academy education, jobs abroad, culture and leisure; 2. to set up a theatre lab with students performing in foreign languages; 3. to set up another multimedia linguistic lab with a capacity of 30 seats; 4.implementation of a computerized catalogue containing the materials of the Audiovisual library (audio CDs, music CDs, DVDs, VHS The didactics follows the e-learning method, the CLIL method and theatre laboratory as supports for foreign language learning. The project’s education program aims to teach youth to get closer to the new communication forms, and to spread multimedia and audiovisual culture in foreign languages, in order to make easier the access to information. This project aims at developing the students’ language skills according to B1 level of CEF for the e-learning method; at the same time the foreign language theatre project has also given the possibility to develop relational skills of the students involved, emphasizing the importance of the gestures for the communication which can change according to the culture.
