Il progetto CLACSON-LSP (lingue settoriali) si inserisce in un contesto più vasto di insegnamentoapprendimento delle lingue straniere nella modalità di e-Learning. Il programma CLACSON è costituito da materiale didattico, da fruire online tramite una piattaforma informatica agile e semplice nell’uso, ed è destinato a studenti universitari frequentanti vari corsi di laurea, che abbiano comunque raggiunto una competenza di livello A2 nelle lingue europee. CLACSON-LSP è finalizzato soprattutto allo sviluppo di abilità di comprensione di testi specialistici (da B2- a B2+) legati a settori specifici e ad aspetti della comunicazione nella società globalizzata, nonché di usi autentici a fini professionalizzanti (stesura di CV in L2, consultazione di siti web specialistici, comprensione di offerte di lavoro in L2, ecc.). I moduli finora sviluppati riguardano i settori: Economia, Giurisprudenza, Biologia, Geologia, Ingegneria Civile, Comunicazione, Scienze Politiche, DAMS, Architettura (per la lingua inglese), Economia (per la lingua francese).

The CLACSON project on languages for specific purposes (LSP) is part of a wider framework of teaching and learning foreign languages in e-learning. CLACSON LSP is mainly aimed at developing the comprehension of texts for specific and academic purposes (B2- - B2+ levels), as well as for professional use of the L2 (CV writing, consulting specialist web sites, understanding job advertisements, etc.). The modules produced so far by the CLA include: Economics, Law, Biology, Geology, Civil Engineering, Communication, Political Science, Performing Arts, Architecture (for English); Economics (for French). Texts and multimedia inputs are authentic and the corresponding tasks require a functional use of the language, designed to make the best possible use of web potentialities. The learner can check his/her progress by means of interactive correction. Both the methods and the contents have proved to be highly motivating for adult learners, who have achieved higher than average results.
