L’obiettivo principale del progetto ELS è quello di sviluppare le competenze linguistiche del personale di aziende europee al fine di rafforzare le capacità delle imprese di promuovere sé stesse sul mercato internazionale. In particolare il progetto ha lo scopo di promuovere la conoscenza di quattro lingue straniere (italiano, inglese, spagnolo e francese) per il personale di segreteria delle piccole imprese, quale strumento di riqualificazione professionale nonchè per favorire la collaborazione a livello europeo fra le aziende di cui le persone formate fanno parte. La formazione prevede anche la promozione della conoscenza reciproca della cultura, degli usi e delle convenzioni in ambiente “Business” al fine di sostenere la cooperazione transnazionale fra le imprese e la promozione della crescita professionale della segreteria delle PMI quale strumento di sostegno alle loro prospettive di carriera.

The main objective of ELS (European Languages for Secretaries) project is to develop the language skills of administrative and secretarial staff throughout Europe, in order to help European companies to promote the businesses they are involved in. The project activities are the following: • creation of 4 training packages of business language in English, Italian, Spanish and French aimed at administrative and secretarial staff throughout Europe; • creation of other services which integrate and enrich the training package: - a multilingual glossary containing more than 1000 words and phrases which are regularly used in a professional context; - a training package on business culture in nine different European countries; - a training package on “personal development” to enable people capitalising their improved language skills.
