sintesi italiano

sintesi inglese

The handbook titled Diario di bordo per assistenti familiari is the first book of Italian as an L2 designed to teach Italian language with a particular focus on the structures and lexicon needed when studying and working as family assistant for the elderly, sick, and the terminally ill. The handbook is addressed to adult learners, preferably living in Italy or being in close touch with Italian speaking people. They already have a basic knowledge of Italian, though they happened to come across fairly complex and articulated texts. The editorial project—created and managed by the two authors: Sergio Pizziconi and Isabella Totaro—originated by the teaching experience of the authors in courses dedicated to the teaching/learning of Italian language for special purposes in professional training activities that the Istituto Fernando Santi organized on behalf of the City Admnistration of Rome in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The Università per Stranieri di Siena, monitored the courses and the editorial project of the handbook. It also administered the tests to certify the linguistic competencies acquired.
