Il progetto è strutturato per il personale amministrativo e tecnico dell’Università di Bologna che desidera sviluppare e consolidare le proprie competenze in lingua inglese, scritte ed orali, in modo da accrescere le capacità professionali, sia dal punto di vista dei contenuti, sia dal punto di vista dei rapporti con utenti stranieri. Proprio allo scopo di sviluppare e rafforzare le abilità linguistiche del personale dell’Università, vengono presi in considerazione i differenti ambiti di competenze professionali, ruoli organizzativi e background. La struttura contempla tre diversi momenti: • un primo momento di “accertamento”, in cui viene distribuito un questionario a tutto il personale; • un secondo momento organizzativo di suddivisione in gruppi e conseguente inizio dei corsi, secondo il livello di conoscenza e le diverse professionalità; • un terzo momento di perfezionamento in cui si attua una strategia di formazione continua.

The project has been structured for the internal employees of the University of Bologna who wish to develop and consolidate their competences in writ- ten and spoken English language, in order to enhance their professional abilities, both from the point of view of contents and from the point of view of relationships with foreign users. The analysis of professional and linguistic needs is developed in a very sophisticated way. The learning environment is varied, stimulating and effective, “tailored to measure” for the graduated employees who have access to the courses. The project has been designed and developed in collaboration with CILTA (Interfaculty Centre for Theoretical and Applied Linguistics).
