Il progetto “Elegantia Sermonis” presentato dalla Giunta Regionale della Campania mira a qualificare i giovani dell’area salernitana, zona con un tasso di occupazione tradizionalmente basso, permettendo loro di entrare in comunicazione telematica con i giovani di altri paesi europei, attraverso attività di studio e ricerca e l’attuazione di scambi. L’obiettivo finale è la creazione di una figura professionale nuova, l’”Operatore linguistico d’Europa”, un professionista esperto di cultura, usi e costumi, beni culturali e perciò strumento di valorizzazione turistica ed economica del territorio, che intervenga come operatore in grado di proporre soluzioni a problemi di lavoro legati al mercato comunitario, ai gusti degli utenti, alla cultura di riferimento, ecc.

The project aims at qualifying young people in the area of Salerno with a traditionally low employability rate, allowing them to telematically communicate with young people from other European countries, through study and research activities and exchanges. The final objective is the creation of the figure of “European Linguistic Operator”, a professional expert in culture, customs, habits, cultural property, in the view of the tourist and economical valorization of the territory. The professional figure envisaged by the project is required both in the European countries - as intercommunication and datum point - and in the young entrepreneurialship internal market. The project implies a vocational training activity related to the European languages learning, based also on the knowledge of culture, history, politics and leisure time of other young people who participate in the activity, but who live in France, Spain, England and Germany. The activity is articulated into two phases. The first phase is developed in classroom through the use of multimedia equipment, with video-conference connection every time with two institutes from the above mentioned countries. The second phase is developed through exchanges and stays abroad which allow young people belonging to the European Community to share life and relationships.
