sintesi italiano

sintesi inglese

The idea of the “gymnasium” project originated as an attempt to respond to the question that anyone starting to learn a foreign language asks: “And now, what can I do not to forget?” A language must be “used” to keep it alive. Just as there are gymnasiums for keeping the body fit, there should be “gymnasiums” for the mind in order to maintain an acceptable knowledge of a language that is being studied. Students who join the “gymnasium” course can attend lessons of different courses, at different levels, as required. The choice of the learning pathway can be decided together with the teacher, and the operational sheets are agreed on with the language teacher. Attendance and hours are chosen by the student. The profile of the teaching co-ordinator is thus important; he/she will be assisted by a tutor who can follow the individual students, helping them in the organisation of learning and in the assessment their skills and in the opportunity for growth. The project refers to English, the language most in demand in this area.
